Too much research h a s revealed t h a t w h e n t h e senior h a v e a fall t h e i r recovery i s m u c h quicker w h e n practicing yoga exercise.
Their high quality o f life seems t o b e b e t t e r a s well. Yoga i s a w a y o f exercising y o u r physical body, recovering y o u r body, reflecting, unwinding y o u r thoughts, re-connecting w i t h t h e universe, a n d on your own. Yoga exercise i s t h e b e s t t h i n g i n t h e world f o r maturing physical bodies. Yoga i s n o t a b o u t h o w flexible y o u are; i t i s a b o u t stretching y o u r physical body a n d spinal column. A comprehensive science, Yoga i s a w a y o f life, a n incorporated education and learning s y s t e m t h a t teaches t h e thoughts, body a n d inner spirit t o coexist i n. harmony, originating in India, it’s teachings can be traced back to over 5,000 thousand years ago. “Yoga is a way of moving into stillness in order to experience the truth of who you are. In simple terms, however, Yoga is best thought of as a system for improving the holistic wellbeing of an individual.

It is important to note that although it evolved in the Hindu society of India, Yoga is not a religious system and can be practiced without compromising your specific religious beliefs (or indeed without any religious belief whatsoever). Any Yoga is better than no Yoga, and 20 to 30 minutes a day is better than 90 minutes once a week. I believe that yoga is for everyone and it is my goal to pass on the ancient knowledge of yoga to my students, so they can experience the true spirit of yoga and begin to integrate some of this wisdom into their lives.
