My Top 6 Tips for Instant Migraine Relief

Across the globe there are thousands of people that are in the exact same position that we are in; they are all suffering from attacks on a daily basis. The problem with this is that it starts to affect every aspect of our lives.

Here are what I consider my top tips to work towards instant migraine relief. A combination of these tips eventually helped me live my life like anyone that does not suffer from similar symptoms – so they could help you as well!

#1 Keeping relaxed

With people’s lives becoming busier and busier, it is hard to find time to think, let alone relax. The reality is that giving your body a break besides sleeping is essential to ensure that you do no build up immense amounts of stress.

Simple things such as reading, walking, gardening or light exercise can all help.

#2 Keep dieting

This is not necessarily losing weight and junking all the nice foods we eat, but controlling your lifestyle. Certain fatty or rich foods can trigger a migraine, which is certainly not going to help with instant migraine relief.

Try to avoid these foods and cut down on the likes of alcohol.

#3 Preparation

There is no way to know when an attack is going to take place, so we need to prepare. Think about the things you have learnt in the past and have a plan for when it actually happens.

#4 Try out different methods

There are plenty of methods to get rid of attacks. The most common are the likes of medication from doctors, natural remedies and even relaxation techniques. Over time you will get to know what works for you.

#5 Eye care

Believe it or not, a lot of people do not have to suffer from migraines. In reality it is either because they need their eyes tested and potentially need glasses, or they have too much screen time (computer and TV).

#6 Keeping a diary of events

A lot of migraines seem to happen in some sort of pattern. This could be when you watch too much TV, read too much or drink too much. Keep a diary of events and times leading up to the migraine and this diary may help you to achieve instant migraine relief when you realize what is causing them.

Finding a solution to finally achieve migraine relief is not an easy task. There are solutions out there though, so do not be afraid to try something new!
