Before you do an explosive activity, or anything high impact, you want to make sure you warm up properly. You generally want to start with a light jog or some jump roping, just to get the blood flowing. Then you want to do some dynamic stretches/warm ups, such as leg swings, arm circles, high knees etc. Research has shown that static stretching can be detrimental to performance and doesnt necessarily lead to decreases in injury. We will be making a more detailed warm up video soon.
